The international basketball tournaments of IBYT focus on the promotion of the ideal of “fair play”, but also on the acquaintance of young athletes, coaches and their escorts from abroad with the customs and traditions of Greece, its nature and its culture.

“Breaking News: The wait is over! Get ready to witness the comeback of the most anticipated basketball event for young ages – the “4th International Basketball Youth Tournament” 

After being postponed for the last three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament is finally happening in Athens this summer. With a history of attracting teams from all over the world, this tournament promises to be an unforgettable experience for basketball enthusiasts.”

 

The tournament will take place on the following period:

27 June – 1 July 2023

The age groups that can participate in the tournament are:

Boys U16 (born 2007 and later)

Boys U14 (born 2009 and later)

Girls U16 (born 2007 and later)

Note: Each team has the right to use up to 4 athletes born in the previous year from the predicted age group category.
